How do I file an warranty claim for my product(s)?

If your product(s) have been purchased during the last six (6) months, read through our below stated warranty terms to ensure that your product(s) warranty is valid. Contact then the NEW representative where you first purchased your NEW product(s).

Your authorized NEW dealer will then take care of everything for you and let you know as soon as we have found an solution for your issue.

Warranty terms

NEW kiteboarding warrants all products to be free from defects in material and improper workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the purchase date, given that the below noted demands are fullfilled.

Separate warranty terms that deviates from this standard warranty for NEW products, may be included with the product you've bought. If you have not taken part of any specific or extended warranty terms with your product, these standard warranty terms apply to your product.

In the event of warranty-covered product replacement, NEW kiteboarding owns the right to replace the original product with an product that is, in its specifications, as close to the original product as possible, when an direct replacement of the original product isn't available.

NEW kiteboarding Europe has the final word to decide the validity of the warranty in each case. Thereby may eventual pictures, descriptions and on-the-place inspections of the product be requested and become neccessary before any decisions regarding the warranty be made.

Please note that any returns, warranty-related or not, that hasn't been in beforehand authorized by NEW kiteboarding can be accepted. NEW kiteboarding has no responsibility for products during shipment between you, your dealer and/or NEW kiteboarding Europe.

The limited product warranty covers:

  • Any faults or damages that can be related to the manufacturing process or material fatigue
  • Repairment of the product by authorized repair or product replacement.


The limited product warranty does not cover:

  • Any damages or loss of product(s), equipment or property owned by the user, or any third party.
  • Any injuries caused by or on the user or any onlooker, other rider or any third party.
  • Freight & handling costs, or loss of income.
  • Damages caused by using product(s) in waves and/or shore break.
  • Air leakages and/or other damages that are repairable with the included repair-kit.


The product warranty is invalid when:

  • The product(s) is used along with equipment not made by NEW kiteboarding.
  • Modifications and/or repairs on any part of the equipment are made by a non-approved service party.
  • The product(s) is used in extreme and/or non-feasible weather & wind conditions.
  • The product(s) is used in an unnatural and/or improper/irresponsible way.
  • The product(s) is rigged/assemblied/installed not accordingly to the product(s) manuals/recommendations.
  • The product(s) are used for commercial purposes, such as in a school or rental business or similar. Specific commercial service agreements are instead separately available.
  • The product(s) have been exposed to abnormal usage and wear & tear that are beyond the normal usage of the product.
    1. Long-time exposure to sand, sunlight & salt.
    2. Improper storage in too hot or cold environments.
    3. Damage caused by improper air pressure.
    4. Usage with so-called suicide-leash & abnormal stress caused by repeditive crashes.
    5. Mould and defects caused due to non-dry storage.
    6. Neglect of regular maintainance or monitoring of conditions of vital parts.
    7. Contact with foreign substances, such as detergents, solvents or similar.
    8. The product(s) are sold to a third party during the warranty time.
  • The original receipt are not available.


Release of responsibility

Usage of our products in an irresponsible, improper or dangerous way may lead to very serious injuries or in worst case, even death, for yourself as well as any third parties such as onlookers, involved in the act of kiteboarding.

All usage of our products is always done at your own risk.

To use our products properly requires understanding about the sport of Kiteboarding as well as knowledge about the nature forces and the risks that you may be exposed to. If you feel unsure about how to use the products you just bought - don't hesitate to get in touch with your local kiteboarding-school and attend a course to responsible and securely learn the elementary and basic bits of kiteboarding.

By reading and understanding the contents in your products manual, you can actively reduce the risks of kiteboarding.

Note that product manuals aren't included in your products package due to environmental reasons. You can however by yourself take part of all product manuals through our website or at your local NEW dealer.

During the lifetime of your product, regular maintainance and monitoring of wear-and-tear parts are required to ensure not only safety, but also proper function and performance. Information about how to correctly use your product and avoid improper usage and proper maintainance are found in your products manual.

NEW kiteboarding cannot be held responsible for any damages, injuries or disorders that may arise as an result by usage of any of the products in the NEW product range. NEW kiteboarding cannot be held responsible for any eventual affect on product safety, performance and/or warranty validity by improper usage.
